The Temple of Our Lady of the Abyss is an initiatory institution dedicated to unfolding the Mysteries of the Goddess Babalon. Led by Dr Georgia van Raalte and Nemo Theaphilus, the Temple offers resources, events and companionship for those treading the path to the Divine.
The Companions of the Abyss are a group of individuals who are devoted to helping to restore balance to mankind’s relationship with the Divine Feminine. Our collective mission is to explore the moral, ethical and practical aspects of magical devotion, that we might better serve Our Lady.
Companionship
This year the Temple will open its Cthonic Temple Initiation for the first time. A guided visionary and ritual journey toward Her subterranean palace, the Cthonic Temple will offer a potent transformational container in the approach to the Abyss.

We host a variety of events online, including lectures and worship meetings. We also host occasional events in person in Atlanta, GA. The Temple also hosts courses for Dr Georgia van Raalte, including her History of sex magic course.

The Temple publishes books and journals on esoteric topics. We are currently in a period of expansion, and hoping to be able to widen our international efforts to share the knowledge and understanding of Our Lady.

The Temple of Our Lady of the Abyss is a religious group devoted to the restoration of harmony to humankind’s relationship with the divine; and to the rehabilitation of the Divine Feminine within everyday life.
We honor the divine feminine in all Her infinite faces, but in particular we are devotees of the constellation of veils that we call BABALON, Our Lady of the Abyss. The Temple was founded in 2017 in the wake of intimate mystical experiences of profound Communion with the Divine, which were given to Nemo Theaphilus, Priest of the Temple. The Temple was created at the command of Our Lady, as a platform in order to do Her work in this world. It is a vehicle of change, an egregore: a war engine. The Temple was formed in order to find support and share the intimate mystical experiences of communicating with the divine. We offer support, community and companionship for those who are dedicated to the work of Our Lady, and aim to share the Pure Joy that can be known in Her Love.
