Application for Companionship

Application is open to both experienced devotees, and those just beginning on the path - but please note that there are no ‘ten easy teachings’ or simple magic ‘hacks’. This is a collective of committed individuals, not a school or training college.

Please note applicants must be over 18 years of age.

Applicants should email templumabyssi@gmail.com With their full legal name, email address and mailing address. If you would like to remain anonymous to your fellow companions, please state this along with the alias you would like to use. In addition, applicants should write roughly 1000-2000 words on their relationship to the divine feminine and the path of service. Your work should touch on the following questions:

  • Who is Our Lady, to you?

  • How did you find Her (or how did She find you)?

  • What is the nature of Her Work?

  • What does Service mean to you?

Application essays serve a three-fold purpose. First, they show your commitment and dedication to the Work. Second, they allow us to safeguard against allowing wolves into our fold. If your essay exhibits sexism, racism, or ableism it will be rejected. While eroticism is welcomed, demeaning, pornographic, or sexist presentations of Our Lady are not acceptable. Third, we wish for these applications to become a resource, a treasure-trove of shared experience that can guide others as they undertake to journey on the path. To this end, some application essays will be made available as a resource for other members via our website. You may request that your work is kept private, or is published anonymously.

If English is not your first language, and you worry this might affect your application, please let us know. For now we can only accept statements in English, but if you make us aware we will read your application with full sympathy toward any possible language issues. As our network expands we hope to be able to offer application readers in a number of different languages. If you are accepted as a member and would like to offer your reading/translating services for applications, please let us know.

Companions are asked to make a monthly donation of $20 to the Temple. This money goes directly toward the Temple’s attempts at gaining non-profit status. For those unable to make this commitment, there is some availability to donate time or services to our work instead.
